The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Summit will have as theme: “Women in Planning, Architecture, Construction, Engineering and Surveying (PACES)”
This year’s summit will be held on 4th August at Voila Bagatelle and will be celebrating the contribution of women in the Mauritian Construction Industry while highlighting the importance of diversity and providing an insight into the many roles of women in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure.
“This is a unique conference which will give an insight into the many roles of women professionals in Mauritius working in the construction industry and contributing to the shaping of the built environment. The women role models and leaders involved will highlight the importance of diversity and will aim to inspire, motivate and encourage women to join and stay to face the challenges and opportunities of this booming industry.” Says Kalpana.
Kalpana Nepaul has over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry in Mauritius and in UK and been working for Alteo Properties as a Project Manager since 2015. She is a registered engineer with the council of registered professional engineers Mauritius CRPE and with the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE UK) , and an Accredited Professional of BREEAM UK.
