Alteo organized a two days of clean-up which saw the participation, commitment and personal interest of many employees in creating a difference for our environment.
The employees covered a distance of over 5.7 km around Union Flacq on Friday 25th May to collect 1.8 tonnes of waste during only 2 and half hours.
The participants also included 19 agric workers, 14 participants from the Skills Hub Programme Pilot II and about 20 inhabitants of the Village of Olivia who collectively participated to cover a total distance of 5.3 km to collect 3.82 tonnes of waste over only 2.5 hours.
